By Joyce  Aroh

The stakeholders of the People's Democratic Party PDP have passed a vote of confidence on the party, claiming that PDP party will take over power and government house in Ebonyi State and at the federal level come 2023.

The stakeholders made the unanimous declarations during a meeting of takeholders of the party in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state capital.

"People's Democratic Party is a party where there is power, and wher people rejoice. We are urging members of the party to remain focus and not to be afraid, because the party will finally regained power come 2023," said former Senate President and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Anyim Pius Anyim

He added that "From year 1999 to 2019, PDP was in power in Ebonyi, because we put them there. Therefore, come 2023, PDP will take over power and will put someone who will never betray the party again."

On his own part, the Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South East, Mr Ali Odefa insisted that no one can rig the election or rig out PDP in the state, expressing confidence that the party will bounce back into power in the much-anticipated 2023 general election.
